Who we are:
Is here to encourage men in their journey of faith and walk in life through prayer, sharing and developing relationships inspired by our common Catholic faith & commitment to serving our Lord Jesus Christ.

What we do:
At Our Meetings, we share faith experiences in an encouraging environment. (Topics of discussion can be found below.)

Where we do meet:
We meet in the rectory directly after mass on first Saturday of the Month.

When do we meet:
Mass on Saturday is at 8:00am. We bagel socialize then get started by 9.

9:05 Theme of Discussion is set. Scripture is read.
9:15 Divide into groups of 5 or more.
9:45 Closing observations, challenges, other questions from small groups.
9:55 Closing prayer.
10:00 Clean-up.

Notes:
Selection of speaker for the day is chosen by lot. Anyone interested must tell a coordinator. Lottery will be taken. Men are encouraged to share a part of their spiritual journey (current, recent, long term) Meditation, reflection, question, tests and obstacles can be discussed.

In groups, everyone who wants to speak & share should be encouraged. Likewise, we are also encouraged to listen. Time is watched to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity.

  • How to mix Christian role with manager/supervisor role. Behaving as a Christian while disciplining or during (negative) performance review of subordinates.

  • Discussing religion at work
  • Dealing with non-Christian corporate policy

    Offering your work to God. God’s will at work.
  • How to leave work at work.
  • Home Life Home persona vs. work persona. Take off the mantle of co-worker/fellow employee, put on the mantle of father/spouse/son, making the transition.
  • Play detective with spouse ("What did I do wrong, today?")
  • Impact of work schedule on home life
  • God’s plan for husband/father’s role at home
  • Responsibility of the present moment
  • Everything for the glory of God.
  • Hero: St Joseph. What kind of man/father/Husband was he? How do we look to him as role model?
  • Servant to the family (like JPII is servant to church, Jesus servant to apostles)
  • What is our individual mission as father/family leader/spouse?
  • Relationship to Wife How to bring Jesus into the intimate personal relationship with spouse.
  • Dealing with different spiritual levels and formation rates.
