The St. Veronica Parish Traditional Choir is a group of dedicated parishioners who love to Praise the Lord in Song. The Traditional adult/family choir sings every Sunday at the 10:30am Mass. We also prepare for and lead the singing at most of the major liturgies throughout the year. Some of the liturgies that this group ministers at are: The 10pm Christmas Eve Mass and "Carol Service", and the Palm Sunday; Holy Thursday; Good Friday Liturgy of the Lord's Passion, and the Glorious Easter Vigil Mass. We also minister at other Masses and Services that come up during the year in full cooperation with the other sectors of St. Veronica's Music Ministry.
We are both happy to speak with prospective new members after any of the weekend Masses. Just come up to the organ after the closing hymn.
The Traditional choir is open to the entire parish, there are no age restrictions. We have members who bring their children and grandchildren to rehearsals, and to the
10:30am Sunday Mass with them. (These children sing beautifully with the group).
The choir is an opportunity for the entire family to participate in the Liturgy together.
The group meets in the Church on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesday evenings at 7:30PM (September through May). Rehearsals are often scheduled on other days when the need arises to prepare for a special Celebration. Cantor rehearsals are individually scheduled with Nancy Condardo, our Choir and Cantor director.
All are welcome to join the choir, as an individual or as a family. Cantors are screened and trained by Mrs. Condardo.
